Vodacom is one of South Africa’s leading telecommunication companies.
Brief
The Roaming Replier was an automation bot we created that enabled people to send a tweet with an emoji flag to @Vodacom. The bot would then automatically reply with a fun, personalised message about the country they wanted to travel to, the roaming costs for that country, as well as a link to activate roaming.
There were 160 individual tweets tailored for each country, accompanied by beautifully illustrated, country-specific gifs.

This was also part of the #JustSwitch campaign. One of Vodacom’s claims was that they have the fastest mobile internet. These memes were part of a series of 6, made to amplify that message.
